Ichigo Kurosaki is a fictional character in the Bleach manga series and its adaptations created by Tite Kubo. He is the main protagonist of the series, who receives Soul Reaper powers after meeting Rukia Kuchiki, a Soul Reaper assigned to patrol around the fictional city of Karakura Town.
His abilities stem from being a Fullbringer along with having Shinigami blood in him as well. In a way, he is the best of both worlds as his unique skill set allows him to constantly be on an upward projection power-wise compared to the other Shinigami whose power is stagnant. In the series, Ichigo is taller than average and has a full head of wild, spiky orange hair. He’s usually dressed in slim-fitting black clothes, as is typical for a Soul Reaper in the series’ fictional universe. He’s grumpy, but likeable, and, with his short temper, isn’t afraid to get into fights. Ichigo has often been referred to as a Primal God or Ancient by the Elves, this refers to a powerful spirit, often an animal, that lives in nature. Ichigo Kurosaki is sometimes thought of as the antihero of Bleach, but sometimes he takes the title too far and ends up acting more like a villain. Bleach’s Ichigo Kurosaki is more of an anti-hero than other shonen protagonists like Monkey D. Luffy and Naruto Uzumaki.
Bankai Special Ability: Tensa Zangetsu, much like its Shikai form, is used heavily for melee combat, but also possesses a certain special ability. Hyper-Speed Combat: Ichigo takes all the power of his Bankai, compresses it into a small, condensed form, and uses the power of the Bankai to perform high-speed combat. By using his Hollow mask, Ichigo could augment the power of all his attacks. This includes the Getsuga Tenshou as well, which becomes a highly powerful and damaging attack. This Augmented Getsuga Tenshou, coupled with Ichigo’s Bankai form, is extremely potent and can destroy even the toughest enemies around. He has a bit of a temper. Because of this, Ichigo sometimes struggles to make friends or convince people to help him, and he doesn’t always inspire trust or confidence in others. Fortunately, he has allies such as Orihime Inoue to do the sweet-talking for him.
